Prayer For Guidance and Patience After a Loss
Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Prayer:
God in Heaven, I pray to You to find peace in my heart. The loss that has consumed me is overwhelming, and I fear that it may control my actions.
With this prayer, I ask for guidance and patience. I plead for Your guidance, so that I may know how to navigate my grief in a way that will bring me peace. I pray for patience, so that I may continue to persevere as I trust that things will be okay in the end.
You have never given me more than I can handle. I know that remains true even in the depths of my grief. I pray that the Holy Spirit enlightens me, as it is only through You will I find true comfort for this pain. Amen.
