Holy Father, you know that it is not easy in this world to stay happily committed to each other in marriage. All kinds of bad influence could intrude and cause trouble. That’s why, I approach Your throne today to pray for Your divine protection over my marriage.
Lord, do not allow a lack of communication, lies and dishonesty near our tent. But, let us be good listeners, appreciating and admiring each other’s opinions and qualities.
Banish any kind of bitterness, bad temper, and resentment in our lives. Help us forgive one another freely and become more willingly to forget our wrongdoings.
Lord, You understand all the temptations that face us today. I ask You to preserve our hearts from lusting after someone else and shield our minds from sinful thoughts. Protect my wife/husband from the temptations and snares of another man/woman. Deliver our marriage from lustful eyes. Be our strength and don’t allow us to enter into temptation or cause other to fall.
Father, rebuke every tongue that spoke out against our marriage. I proclaim that every negative words spoken against us will not prevail. But, I now speak blessing, grace and love over our marriage.
