Prayer for Patience and Perseverance for Students
2 Thessalonians 1:4-5 Therefore, among God’s churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring. All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result, you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.
Education is a gift, but that does not exempt us from struggling in school. It can be challenging to be patient at school, especially when we struggle to comprehend certain lessons. Pray to God for His help at school in order to make good use of this blessing that only He could provide.
Prayer:
Dearest God, I thank You everyday for the gift of education. I make sure never to take it for granted, but sometimes I find that school can be challenging and tough for me. I always make an effort to learn to the best of my abilities, but there are some lessons that I struggle to fully grasp.
You are my greatest teacher Lord, so I ask that You teach me to be patient with my studies. I know I must persevere because with hard work and dedication I will be able to make the most out of what I learn. With this prayer, I know that in due time, I will be able to make great use of my education and share my talents to help others in the future. Amen.
