Prayer For Pain to Vanish
Romans 8:18 “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”
Physical pain, whether chronic or short term, can be debilitating and stressful. Pain can distract you from work, family, and your hobbies leaving you feeling helpless or defeated. When medication isn’t enough, or it isn’t something you want to use, there is another way to help release some of the pain. Turn to God! Prayer can help you release some of the frustrations and depression associated with the pain. God wants you to turn to him when you need strength, and physical pain is no exception!
Here is a prayer to get you through the pain you are feeling; so that you can see the glory that God has ahead of you. He has a Plan for you.
Prayer:
God,
I know only You can help this pain vanish away.
I plead for peace and serenity as I fight off the pain I am feeling.
Send Your hand down to me and fill me with Your strength.
I cannot take this pain any longer without Your help!
Release me from this hold and restore me.
I trust in You to give me the strength to get through this.
I pray that the pain will be gone!
It will not hold me down because I have the Lord on my side.
Amen.
