Prayer For Banishing Reoccurring Pain
Romans 8:18 “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”
Physical pain, whether chronic or short term, can be debilitating and stressful. Pain can distract you from work, family, and your hobbies leaving you feeling helpless or defeated. When medication isn’t enough, or it isn’t something you want to use, there is another way to help release some of the pain. Turn to God! Prayer can help you release some of the frustrations and depression associated with the pain. God wants you to turn to him when you need strength, and physical pain is no exception!
Here is a prayer to get you through the pain you are feeling; so that you can see the glory that God has ahead of you. He has a Plan for you.
Prayer:
Lord,
I feel worn down by reoccurring pain I have.
It makes every small thing feel like a big deal.
Please help me to manage this illness
and continue to find time to rest and treat the pain.
Most of all Lord please touch the area of discomfort and bring healing.
Please flood the inflammation with warmth and bring the swelling down.
Come release the muscles that are tight and bring Your restoration.
May my waking hours be restful and my sleep be peaceful.
I ask all this in the Name of Jesus, my Savior and my friend.
