A Prayer For a Life Shift
Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plan I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” While our Heavenly Father assures us that He has clear and unique plans for our lives, it’s not always easy for us to figure out our next steps on our own. Often, we can’t figure out where we are being led. Sometimes, God is trying to lead and guide you down a unique path, but it’s impossible to figure out because you can’t hear His voice. There are times when He will put clear signs in front of you, and other times where the signs couldn’t be further from you. This is when prayer comes in. Specific prayers can help guide you in the right direction. Here are a prayer for God to direct your next steps.
There are times when God will open doors, you never expected him too. There are also times when He will open the door to get your attention and direct you down a higher calling path. Mark 10:45 says, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.” This reminds us that we should lives like that shows our service to others. If the position your in doesn’t reflect this, Jesus may be trying to open your eyes and help you pay attention. It’s important to remember that this clarity may not happen immediately. Yet, God will tell you where you need to be. Turn to this prayer for greater clarity:

Dear God, help me to understand the shift that is taking place in my life right now.
Please help me focus upon my blessings, live in gratitude, and open my heart to new opportunities.
