O incomparable Lady of the Aparecida Conception,
Mother of God, Queen of Angels, Advocate of Sinners,
Refuge and Consolation of the Afflicted and Troubled,
most holy Virgin, full of power and goodness,
cast a favourable glance in our direction
so that we may be helped in all our needs.
Remember, most Clement Mother of Aparecida,
that it has never been known that anyone who sought your help,
invoking your name and imploring your singular protection,
was ever abandoned.
Encouraged by this confidence, I turn to you,
accepting you for once and always as my Mother and protector,
my consolation and guide,
my hope and light at the hour of my death.
Please, Lady, free us from everything
that might offend you and your most holy Son,
my Redeemer and Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed Virgin, keep us your unworthy servants and this house
and those who live here from plague, hunger, war, assault,
lightning, storms, floods, accidents and other perils
and bad things that might plague us.
Sovereign Lady, please guide us
in all spiritual and temporal things;
free us from the devil's temptations so that,
following the way of virtue
and by the merits of your purest virginity
and the most precious Blood of your Son,
we may be able to see,
love and enjoy you in the eternal glory,
for ever and ever.
