The Prayer, God, Who Are You?
[The purpose of this prayer is for individuals who question the religion that they are practicing, if it is the true religion recommended by God Almighty. If not, they are asking God to reveal Himself to them so they may worship the one and only true God of all things.]
Almighty Creator of all what is seen and unseen, Who are You?
Are you the God of my family tradition, the only God known to me?
Are you the God of Abraham, the God of the Jews?
Are you Muhammad, Buddha, Allah or one of the Hindu gods?
How does one get to know you if you will not reveal yourself?
How can one learn about you or your teachings if you remain hidden?
How can one find the way to eternal happiness if your remain mysterious?
How can one learn good or evil without a teacher?
How can you condemn the actions of one who is not guided in your way?
God, who are you? How long must you remain a mystery in my life?
Reveal yourself so I may know you and follow you.
Please, I beg you, tell me who you are.
