A Prayer For Clearer Calling to God
Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plan I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” While our Heavenly Father assures us that He has clear and unique plans for our lives, it’s not always easy for us to figure out our next steps on our own. Often, we can’t figure out where we are being led. Sometimes, God is trying to lead and guide you down a unique path, but it’s impossible to figure out because you can’t hear His voice. There are times when He will put clear signs in front of you, and other times where the signs couldn’t be further from you. This is when prayer comes in. Specific prayers can help guide you in the right direction. Here are a prayer for God to direct your next steps.
Sometimes when God is directing your steps, you will feel called to help others because you feel led to. One of the best ways to show God’s love and reflect His presence is through our calling. No matter what field you’re in, you are always called to serve Christ. If you feel an urge to do something that is bigger than yourself, God may be trying to lead you down a particular path. Dear God, I am humbly calling out to You.
I need You. Please help me to start doing things Your way.
I invite You to fill me with Your spirit and make me whole.
Also, allow me to see my calling. I welcome Your grace, Your mercy, and Your peace.
