A Prayer For Anger Management
Proverbs 15:18 A hot-tempered person stirs up conflict, but the one who is patient calms a quarrel.
Not giving in to your anger takes a lot of patience. Always remember that God would not give you these struggles if He knew you couldn’t handle them. If you struggle with anger management, offer this prayer to the Lord so as to not give in to such explosive temptation.
Prayer:
Almighty Father, the feelings that are stirring within me continue to grow. I feel them about to boil over, but I know You will not allow that.
Help me, Lord, that I may not give in to the temptations of anger. I know succumbing to such feelings will not solve things, so I ask for Your help so that I remain strong and steadfast.
Help me remain patient as I find inner peace, even when certain situations continue to test me. I know You would never give me anything beyond my capabilities, so I trust in You as I welcome Your calmness into my heart. I lift up this prayer in Your name, Amen.
