A Prayer When Something is Missing in My Life
Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plan I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” While our Heavenly Father assures us that He has clear and unique plans for our lives, it’s not always easy for us to figure out our next steps on our own. Often, we can’t figure out where we are being led. Sometimes, God is trying to lead and guide you down a unique path, but it’s impossible to figure out because you can’t hear His voice. There are times when He will put clear signs in front of you, and other times where the signs couldn’t be further from you. This is when prayer comes in. Specific prayers can help guide you in the right direction. Here are a prayer for God to direct your next steps.
There are times when you feel incredibly empty. This may be God trying to lead you through a new door. When you’re feeling spiritually empty, God may be telling you it’s time to move on to something bigger and better. Sometimes, sin can get in the way and make you feel spiritually sluggish. When you need direction, know that God isn’t far away. Turn to God in prayer so you can know what door He is trying to open in your life. Turn to this prayer when you feel like something is missing:
Prayer:
Dear God, I feel like something is missing in my life.
I feel incredibly empty. Help me to find fullness and wholeness through You.
I know, You have the power to make all things new.
