Prayer For Blessing of Throats
As the priest places the candles on the throat of each person, he says:
Through the prayers of St. Blase,
may God free you from ailments of the throat
and from every other evil.
In the name of the Father,
and of the + Son,
and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
