Prayer For Child’s Pain
Romans 8:18 “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”
Physical pain, whether chronic or short term, can be debilitating and stressful. Pain can distract you from work, family, and your hobbies leaving you feeling helpless or defeated. When medication isn’t enough, or it isn’t something you want to use, there is another way to help release some of the pain. Turn to God! Prayer can help you release some of the frustrations and depression associated with the pain. God wants you to turn to him when you need strength, and physical pain is no exception!
Today, even though all may seem hopeless, you have a healer in God. Release all of your pain, frustrations, and anger into prayer and God will be listening. He hears your cry for help and will anoint you with strength and lend a healing hand to all those who come to Him.
Here is a prayer for God to ease your child's pain and help you overcome the pain you feel, so that you can see the glory God has in store for you. He has a plan for you.
Prayer:
God,
It seems so unfair the pain and suffering I see my child in.
As a parent, it is gut-wrenching to see even the slightest heartache or sadness from my precious little one.
During this time, I ask that You place a healing hand on my child’s discomfort as well as my heart.
I will work hard to remain strong and positive when in front of my child.
They will not see me defeated or broken. I turn to You and ask that You lift him up.
