Prayer for Patience in the Fulfilment of the Lord's Plans
James 5:8 You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.
The Lord is always with us, even in times of weakness when we grow weary and impatient. In such occasions of weakness, we turn to prayer, as it helps bring us closer to God and His likeness.
Prayer:
Oh Lord in Heaven, I offer this prayer to humbly ask for patience as I wait out Your plan for me in life. The blessings You provide us with take time, so I pray not for You to rush, but for myself to slow down.
I pray for patience in my heart, so that I may learn to take things day by day and appreciate all the little things in life. Everything I have in this life is all thanks to You, so I am in no hurry to move on to greener pastures.
You will bring me to wherever I need to be in due time, so I offer my unconditional faith in You as I follow this path You have set me on. Amen.
